Junior Customer Support Engineer

For our Frankfurt office we are looking for a Junior Customr Support Engineer. Responsibilities include connecting new customers, upgrading existing customers and handling customers requests.

Minimum Qualifications: “abgeschlossene technische Berufsausbildung” (“Fachinformatiker/in”, “Informatikkaufmann/-frau”), or a related field or, equivalent work experience

Essential Skills:

  • Fluent in spoken and written German
  • Good command of the English language
  • Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems as a user
  • Knowledge about Internet protocols and technologies
  • Experience in at least one programming or scripting language.

Optional Skills:

  • Experience with Linux/Unix system administration
  • Experience in systems, IP services and network administration
  • Basic knowledge of web-design.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Director Customer Support
  • Act as single point of contact for customers during upgrade and connection process
  • Handle customers requests by email or phone.
